International Culinary School Students Gain Experience, Benefit Diabetes Initiative

Cincinnati, Ohio – Culinary students from The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Ohio – Cincinnati will gain valuable experience and help benefit The HealthCare Connection’s Diabetes Initiative on October 17, when, in conjunction with Gourmet Enterprises, they help prepare and serve “Jazzy Bites” for a special VIP reception prior to a concert by seven-time Grammy winner Al Jarreau. Faith Daniels, of MOJO 100.3, will host the event – Hot Jazz & Cool Nights – in the Loge and Balcony levels of the lobby at The Aronoff Center.  The reception will also feature live jazz performed by local music groups.  The CCM Jazztet, the Princeton High School Jazz Ensemble and the Wannabees will get the evening started with great music and live entertainment for the VIP Reception.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for our Culinary students to acquire valuable first-hand experience at an upscale event, while also contributing to a cause that affects so many people here in Cincinnati and throughout the country,” says Chef Laird Livingston, Director of the International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Ohio – Cincinnati. “We are grateful to Gourmet Enterprises and The HealthCare Connection for inviting us to play a role in this exciting evening.”
