Admissions
Applicants to The Art Institute of Ohio — Cincinnati
must demonstrate proof of high school graduation or its equivalent in
order to receive final acceptance. An official copy of your high school
transcript or GED transcript is required.
You will also be interviewed, either in person or
by telephone, to explore your background and related
interests in correlation with the program offerings.
Each applicant's academic transcript and completed
essay will be evaluated by the Admissions Acceptance
Committee. The committee determines the compatibility
of the applicant with the programs at The Art Institute
of Ohio Cincinnati and ultimately makes the final
decision regarding acceptance to The Art Institute
of Ohio Cincinnati.
The committee reserves the right to request additional
records of accomplishments in core academic courses
and/or the results of any nationally-based exam such
as the SAT or ACT prior to making this decision.
A separate application and enrollment form must be
completed and signed by the applicant, as well as parent
or guardian (if applicant is a minor).
The Art Institute of Ohio Cincinnati is not presently authorized under federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students.
Although a visit to The Art Institute of Ohio — Cincinnati
is not a requirement for submitting an application
form and enrollment agreement for acceptance, prospective
students are encouraged to schedule an interview with
one of our admissions representatives to discuss special
needs, long-term or short-term goals, and lifelong
career aspirations.
