Instructors at The Art Institute of Ohio — Cincinnati showcase their talents in the 2012 Faculty Exhibition
CINCINNATI – Instructors at The Art Institute of Ohio — Cincinnati teach students techniques of the trade day-in and day-out. Lesson plans, lectures, assignments and hands-on projects rule their worlds and while they are responsible for these classroom duties, they share a common goal with the students in their seats – they too have the passion to create tomorrow. As working industry professionals and artists in their own right, instructors have been hard at work in the field and have created original pieces to showcase their talents in the college’s gallery. The campus invites students and guests alike to view these items at the closing reception of the 2012 Faculty Exhibition on Tuesday, March 13 from 6-8 p.m. at The Art Institute of Ohio — Cincinnati, 8845 Governors Hill Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45249.
The gallery features work created by more than 12 instructors representing the various degree programs in the fields of Design, Media Arts, Fashion and Culinary offered at The Art Institute of Ohio — Cincinnati. A wide variety of mediums are on display including, but not limited to drawing, painting, digital imagery and video sculpture. Chef instructors will also share their talents as light refreshments are shared with event attendees.
The gallery is opening for public viewing Monday – Thursday 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. now through March 30.
