Enter The Art Institutes Passion for Fashion Competition at The Art Institute of Ohio — Cincinnati!
[CINCINNATI, Ohio, October 10, 2012] – The Art Institute of Ohio — Cincinnati, a branch of The Illinois Institute of Art – Chicago, announces its search to find the next winner of The Art Institutes Passion for Fashion Competition 2012. Teens who are looking for outlets to express their love of style are encouraged to submit an entry The Art Institute of Ohio-Cincinnati and unleash their creativity for an opportunity to earn a tuition scholarship. Entries must be postmarked by January 20, 2012.
“The Art Institutes Passion for Fashion Competition is a great way for fashion-minded students to showcase their style smarts,” said Julie Hengle, Dean of Academic Affairs at The Art Institute of Ohio — Cincinnati. “It’s a creative, hands-on way to get you in the running for the opportunity to earn a tuition scholarship.”
The competition consists of the Fashion Marketing & Merchandising and Retail Management category. Local competitions will take place at each participating Art Institutes school throughout the U.S. and Canada. Each local Fashion Marketing & Merchandising and Retail Management competition winner will earn a $3,000 tuition scholarship to The Art Institutes school they represent in the competition. Local first place winners will move on to the national competition.
The national competition grand prize winner will earn a half- tuition scholarship to The Art Institutes school, receive a VIP trip to New York City, participate in a “meet and greet” at Seventeen magazine’s New York City offices, have lunch with a Seventeen Style Pro, receive a $500 shopping spree at DKNY with the Style Pro, and a $500 gift card to shop anywhere in the Big Apple.
The competition is open to legal residents of the fifty United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are full-or part-time high school seniors scheduled to graduate in 2012 with a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average. Entries must be submitted along with a completed Entry & Release Form to The Art Institutes school the student wishes to represent in the competition.
