Designers Statement
My piece is about understanding art as an important part of our culture. Art is everywhere. Whether it is a book, music, a painting or even a poster, art is everywhere and it affects your way of life. Without art, the world would be a bland and boring place. I find that it is the art in my life that gets me through the day. It is what motivates and drives me to be a better person. For me, art is not just something that I can enjoy; it’s a way of life. That is why I would like to spend the rest of my life being involved in the art community. I want to spread the word of the beauty and complexity of art so more people can understand how important it can be. Art changed my life and I want it to change the lives of others. I can do that through graphic design. It is the vessel through which I can communicate to all people. I know that life will always be better with art in it; my only hope is that I can make it better.
