Designer's Statement
“Life is better with art in it.”  The poster I have designed is an attempt to put these words into an artistic demonstration.  In my picture, the tree you see is a symbol for life.  It (like any other trees) requires nutrients from its roots to survive.  Instead of being ordinary hunks of wood, my tree’s roots are different tools and mediums of art.  This gives a very clear view on the relationship between life and art; the life of the tree relying on the joys of art.  However, the roots of this tree do not just halt in the ground and do nothing else, they continue to spread out amongst the rest of the world like a virus.  There is no escaping art anywhere in the universe.  It makes up our world, fuels our lives, and brings joy wherever we take it.

I wish to enter the graphic design field so that I may help others bring their ideas to creative and artistic visuals.  Whether I am designing a logo for a company, creating a big advertisement for an industry, or producing a designing team of my own, I want to leave a mark on the world and help individuals by using art, my passion.
