Designers Statement
The design concept for my entry is pretty simple: Art is the door to your soul that allows your imagination to flow freely. I’ve gone through numerous concepts for this scholarship, all were far too complicated, had too many concepts in one poster, and all of them fell short and just didn’t feel right. So, driving home one day, I had an epiphany. I decided to restart my poster, scrap everything, and just let flow my definition of art in a simple yet effective manner.
I want to enter the graphic design field because it is the best method to express myself. I love hand drawn art, but I’m not the best sketch artist or painter. I’m choosing the digital route because of the infinite possibilities that come with it. Nothing can hold me back - except my own imagination.
