New Exhibit

in the Pegasus Gallery

From October 13-November 21, The Pegasus Gallery at The Art Institute of Dallas welcomes outside artist Lesli Robertson. Lesli will display a fiber installation piece. As she writes on her website www.leslirobertson.com : "My art work does not exist solely on its own. It is engaged either directly or indirectly with the cultures and arts that I independently research.  As a fiber artist, I use materials that have a strong history and relation to numerous cultures.  I  have always been intrigued with the communicative power of these materials within their culture and within my own art work."

An opening reception with the artist will be held on October 16 from 5-7pm in the Pegasus Gallery. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
