Culinary Students Take the Cake

Three teams of Art Institute of Dallas culinary students recently competed in the America’s Best Cake Challenge in California on August 16.  Along with instructr Nina Hunter, the students have been practicing for this competition since May, and raised money from bake-sales to get to the competition.  Duff Goldman of Food Network's "Ace of Cakes" was one of the judges. 

The team of Jenny Seitzinger and Josh Burrus took third place out of 11 teams with their luggage-inspired cake.
