Career Services for Students
Career Services prepares students for the transition from campus life to career entry in their respective fields. Although Career Services does not guarantee employment, we do provide access to job search resources and employment opportunities as well as individual job search assistance. Services are available to all students enrolled in the college.
Career Advising - Advisors are available to meet with students one-on-one to discuss all facets of job searching, including career options, resume creation and review, interview preparation and job search strategies. Students are encouraged to meet with their advisors early in the course of their programs.
Job and Career Opportunities - General and industry related part-time, seasonal and freelance jobs are available through the campus and online student job boards.

Job Fairs/On Campus Recruiting - Career Services coordinates quarterly student job fairs featuring employers recruiting for part-time and full-time positions. Past participants include companies such as Home Depot, UPS, Pappas Catering, West Elm and Nordstrom. Employers are also invited to recruit individually on campus for immediate hiring needs.
Resources - General and industry specific job search tools and information, such as sample resumes and cover letter guidelines, association lists, job applications, company literature, articles and more are maintained in the Career Services office.
Portfolio shows - Career Services hosts quarterly graduate portfolio shows. These events provide graduates with an opportunity to showcase their work to industry professionals, family and friends.
