The Department of Residence Life & Housing assists students with their housing options.
The student may wish to lease an apartment with friends, live in school-sponsored housing,
or make other independent arrangements.
The Art Institute of Dallas contracts with The BLVD to provide housing to students who wish
to live in an environment with other Art Institute of Dallas students. The Department of
Residence Life and Housing places students according to their likes and dislikes,
study habits, academic level and program. At The BLVD all kitchens are equipped with a
refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. Students may bring additional appliances,
as deemed necessary. The Apartment, however, has limited space for additional furniture.
Therefore students must obtain approval from the Office of Residence Life prior to
bringing additional furniture items.
The BLVD has many amenities which include: a swimming pool, tanning bed, barbeque & picnic
areas and a 24-hour fitness center. Each unit is equipped with a washer/dryer.
The Office of Residence Life and Housing employs two Residence Life Administrators
and four Resident Assistants. These assistants live on-site, administer inspections,
plan programs and provide assistance and support whenever needed.
