Finalists Selected in Fashion Your Future Scholarship Competition At The Art Institute of Atlanta-Decatur

ATLANTA (GA) – The Art Institute of Atlanta-Decatur has announced the four finalists in its annual Fashion Your Future Scholarship Competition. Selected from nearly two dozen entries from across the U.S, the four finalists are all Georgia residents. The competition is a partnership with Macy’s Atlanta and North DeKalb Mall, and promotes the fashion & retail management degree program offered by The Art Institute of Atlanta-Decatur.

Students interested in entering the fashion & retail management program at The Art Institute of Atlanta-Decatur submitted essays on “Why I am interested in a career in fashion and retail management.” The finalists are Jessica Berlanga (Tucker 30084), Remarco Vickers (Atlanta 30314), Latoria Jackson (Riverdale 30274), and Alarea Dickinson (Atlanta 30311).

Each student must create a window display, using a spring fashion look and accessories from Macy’s. The displays will be installed in the Burlington wing of North DeKalb Mall on Friday, March 27. The judging and presentation will take place on Saturday morning, March 28, at 10 and 11 am respectively, and the displays will remain on view through April 4.
