Students may obtain advanced standing by demonstrating their knowledge of General Education subject matter. The Art Institute of Colorado will award credit for satisfactory scores on CLEP and/or DANTES exams. Please contact our Transfer Credit Coordinator for a list of approved CLEP and/or DANTES exams, minimum scores required and amount of credit awarded. CLEP and/or DANTES scores must be received prior to the student’s first quarter of study at The Art Institute of Colorado. Exceptions may be granted through the Director of Admissions or the Transfer Credit Coordinator.
