Alumni Exhibit 2005
From off-the-wall bike jersey designs to stunning photography, splashy TV promo footage and eye-catching corporate ad campaigns, the 2005 Alumni Exhibit displayed a multimedia panorama of the best professional work produced by graduates of The Art Institute of Colorado. This year's "Directions" theme highlighted where graduates have taken their education in school programs such as Graphic Design, Photography, Interior Design, Video Production, Industrial Design and Multimedia & Web Design. Some alums displayed fine art, a tribute to The Art Institute's early beginnings, and every decade of the school's 50-plus years of history was represented by participating artists.
The exhibit has become an annual favorite for its diversity and professionalism, as well as its sense of surprise and touch of whimsy. The 2005 collection featured Nike advertisements from Japan, a newly-published photography book, the exterior design of an up-and-coming Las Vegas casino, a timely news documentary and a saki set.
