Sept. 14, 2002...An evening to remember, as The Art Institute of Colorado combined its annual Alumni Exhibition, Hall of Fame induction ceremony and the school's 50-year celebration into one festive evening. 

Activities began at 1200 Lincoln Street with the alumni exhibition, Hall of Fame inductions, hors d'oeuvres and a champagne toast to 50 years of Art Institute creativity. Faculty, staff and alumni were delighted that the school's original founder was on hand for the school's gallery rededication ceremony, as it officially became "The John Jellico Gallery." Later, the party moved on to the Culinary building, where guests enjoyed creative gourmet delights in themed rooms at an open reception. 

Our 2002 Hall of Fame inductees are: Kevin Bachman, Creative Director at Pulse Advertising Agency (Los Angeles, CA)-Visual Communications 1989; Jim Flynn, Freelance Photographer (Boston, MA)-Photography 1989; Colleen Johnson, Partner at In-Site Design Group (Denver, CO)-Interior Design 1981; David LaFleur, Freelance Illustrator (Sioux City, IA)-Visual Communications 1981; and Dale Rosenbach, Art Director for Publications & Printing Services at Colorado State University (Fort Collins, CO)-Advertising & Design 1971.
