Footage is mixed with music, titling and motion graphics, and then finalized on DVD for teams and associations


THE ROAD TO SUCCESS:
Interned and volunteered the first year of school to get experience

“By the second year, I jumped on some small, paying freelance opportunities. By graduation, I had enough experience and a decent client list that allowed me to go into a full-time freelance position.”

Six months later, registered FB Productions LLC (Foster Bros) with his brother and started to specialize in sports


ADVICE FOR STUDENTS:
“Don’t wait until graduation to start building on your résumé…Be smart in choosing the right internship or volunteer position, and remember that it is free education and will boost you forward.


“When you are confident and ready, slowly work your way out of the ‘free student’ status and represent yourself as a working professional. Be fair in your fees, though, as you are still building and learning. After graduation, you can kick into the next gear.”
