Financial Aid Policies
In accordance with federal regulations, The Art Institute of Colorado enforces a Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy which applies to all students receiving financial aid. To receive financial aid funding, including scholarships offered by The Art Institute of Colorado, students must have at least a 2.5 GPA and successful completion of 67 percent of credits attempted. The maximum total credits attempted cannot be more than 150 percent of a specific degree or diploma’s published length.
The Financial Aid Office monitors SAP annually, at the end of spring quarter. Students who do not meet minimum standards may lose financial aid eligibility. For more information about Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), please see your Financial Aid Officer.
