Location:
The Art Institute of Colorado Library is located on the 4th floor of the 1200 Lincoln Street building in downtown Denver. In addition to the Library, the Academic Services Center (Rooms 401 & 402) and two classrooms (Rooms 403 & 404) are also on the 4th floor. The Library has seating for 120 patrons located in two primary study spaces.

Other General Information
The Art Institute of Colorado Library has a focused collection consisting of support material for every subject area taught at The Art Institute. Collection holdings are approximately 33,000 items with 20,000 unique titles including Books, Videotapes, DVDs and Magazines. The Library subscribes to over 200 periodicals and holds a 2 - 10 year back issue archive supporting major subject areas taught at The Art Institute.
There are tables for group work and Internet terminals for research available in the Library. Assembly support for projects (light tables, paper cutters, rulers, etc.) are available in the Library, but any spraying (paint, adhesive, etc.) or cutting on Library tables is strictly prohibited.
Library Philosophy
The Library supports The Art Institute of Colorado's educational mission of preparing students for careers in the creative industry. It is an integral support to the curriculum and plays an extremely vital role within The Art Institute. The Library is committed to responding to the innovative nature of the diverse and highly specialized technical and creative educational career programs offered at The Art Institute.
