To creativity and beyond
Here's (almost) everything you ever wanted to know about entry requirements, tuition, what our catalog has to say, and even more.
Transfer Credit/Credit for Life
Individuals with portfolios or previous postsecondary education are evaluated during the admissions process for potential advanced placement. Credit will be given for courses successfully completed (with a grade point of 2.0 or better) at other institutions where the courses are comparable to those offered by The Art Institute of Colorado. No more than 75 percent of the total credits needed to graduate from The Art Institute of Colorado will be awarded.
Students applying for transfer of credit may be required to present a portfolio and are required to present an official transcript of grades and course descriptions. Transfer of credit must be applied for and approved in advance of the first quarter of study. Exceptions may be granted through the office of the Dean of Education.
