Student Assistance
Our Student Employment Coordinator is dedicated to helping you find employment while in school—with leads regarding part-time and full-time jobs, both general and field-related. Explore work-study and internship opportunities, or get some input on your résumé. While Career Services cannot guarantee employment, every effort is made to provide our students with pertinent resources. The combination of our professional assistance, and the talent and enthusiasm of our students add up to positive employment results.
Jobs are posted on bulletin boards in the Student Lounge, and information can be found in Job Spotlight Weekly, available at Career Services, in Room 219 at the Lincoln Street Building. And be sure to take advantage of our Job Fair, held each quarter. There, you can meet face-to-face with employers, and get some tips of the trade from a featured speaker.
For our culinary students, job leads targeted specifically to their field are posted in the Student Lounge at the Culinary facility. Each quarter, a number of industry-related employers are invited to the 675 S. Broadway facility to talk about their companies and their current job prospects. Announcements of these opportunities are posted throughout the building.
Once you reach upper-quarter classwork, you'll partner with a Career Advisor specific to your field. Together, you and your advisor map out a plan that presents you to potential employers as a professional in your chosen specialty.
