To Whom It May Concern:
The instructors I have met at the Colorado Institute of Art are exceptional. They not only understand the subject matter (3D studio Max), they are great teachers. I’ve been in many seminars over the years learning new advances in CAD systems. Colorado Institute is able to use instructors that have actual working experience and they can relate the experience to their students. I have learned so much in the three seminars that I have attended at the Art Institute. I have had three national finalists in the last three years at the National SkillsUSA Contest. These students all have told me how invaluable the seminars have been to them. I would and have recommended this school to many students. I currently have one student attending and three more on their way.
Sincerely,

Hello,
I wanted to let you all know how wonderful & rewarding last week's class was.
I was one of 3 students, the other 2 wearing the label "film professional." I was thoroughly schooled on the editing program Final Cut Pro 4. I learned how to use the 2 corresponding programs that are packaged w/ Final Cut Pro; SoundTrack (a music generator) and LiveType (a text generator). I can't really say more about the program's abilities and what I learned other than you'll witness the kid's projects and video stories come May at the FVS Film Festival.
I can say that I learned a lot more on top of the editing program. I sat with 2 other students who gave me project ideas for my advanced class. They offered ideas on teaching film and lighting as well as suggestions on watching and critiquing film. I also networked with the Instructor, Brendan Boykin. He lives and works in Castlerock and may stop down and talk to my classes sometime in December.
I'd like to thank the ever-present "they" at FVS who enabled me to take this weeklong course. I'm inspired to teach and look forward to the hour-long gathering of kids in the basement of the library in a class called Video Studio.
THANX!!

Hey Mark.
I wanted to shoot you an email mainly to say thanks. I didn't really get a chance to properly thank you for the class. My skills have jumped to a higher level and I am very excited about the opportunities for me to use them. I have taken a bunch of graphics training courses, and I must say that you had the most knowledgeable and enthusiastic I have been involved with. It was excellent, thank you. Please keep me involved in your activities or teaching/training seminars. Needless to say, I have opened some eyes at work of the opportunities to design visualization. Actually, they are opened pretty wide now, which leads me to my question.
Thanks,
Eric Lennox
