Student Life

Student Life
Students at The Art Institute of Colorado become members of an exciting community of creative individuals composed of students, faculty, staff and alumni plus area art and culinary professionals. The Art Institute of Colorado encourages and rewards student participation and leadership in our creative community.

  • Student Affairs offers a wide variety of student activities to encourage social networking and stress management, including social and athletic events, a quarterly student art show, and creativity-enhancing activities and field trips.
  • Most academic departments sponsor student chapters of professional associations, including the American Culinary Federation, American Institute of Graphic Artists, American Society of Interior Designers, Industrial Designers of America, and the Colorado Game Developers Association.
  • Our students have opportunities to participate and earn recognition as a student leader by participating and eventually providing leadership in student organizations and activities.
