The Art Institute of Michigan Faculty and Students participate at the Fashion Career Day

Students and faculty from The Art Institute of Michigan participated at the annual Fashion Career Day organized by the Fashion Group International.
Students had the opportunity to attend different workshops showcasing career alternatives in the fashion industry. Workshops included: Working in Fashion Media, Building your Fashion Brand, Fashion Accessory Design, Costume Design for Film Industry, and Job Search Essentials. The workshops were led by professionals working in Michigan, so it was also a great opportunity for students to network.
Last but not least, Joe Faris, a Michigan native and Project Runway finalist in season 5 shared his Project Runway experiences and insights on how to successfully launch a fashion label.
