President's Message

Welcome to The Art Institute of Michigan. As you explore our Web site, I think you'll discover what makes our school such a distinctive creative institution and much more. You'll find we offer the resources students need to make their education rewarding and challenging. More than that, I think you'll gain insight into what it's like to live and study in the beautiful Novi, Michigan area. We're a small but dynamic and creative educational community, deeply committed to the success of our students. It's easy to find your place here.

The Art Institutes system of over 40 locations throughout North America has a long, proud history of providing postsecondary education programs in design, media arts, culinary arts, and fashion. As the newest location of The Art Institutes, The Art Institute of Michigan carries on an impressive tradition of excellence. Here, we believe a creative education has the power to transform lives, and we've designed our programs to support this belief.

Our school provides an environment in which students can experience success and meet the challenges of a creative education. As a student here, you'll be spending time and learning with like-minded students and faculty — artists who think like you and are excited by the creative energy you bring. Many of our students are recent high school graduates, others have sampled different college programs, and still others are embarking on a career change.
