The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale provides budget conscious housing at our Sunrise Hall facilities. Sunrise Hall West and Sunrise Hall East, located across the street from one another, are well maintained, renovated motels, which give students the basic necessities for campus housing.

Sunrise Hall West houses 268 students and features a swimming pool, basketball court, two computer labs (Mac & PC), laundry facilities, shared kitchen, and fully furnished student lounge with flat screen TV, Play Station, DVD player, and vending machines.

Sunrise Hall East houses 114 students and features a swimming pool, barbeque area, laundry facilities, cardio and weight room facilities.

Each unit houses two students and has the following features:

• Two twin beds (we offer some lofts in Sunrise Hall West)
• Two student desks and chairs
• Two wardrobe cabinets designed to hold a minimal amount of clothing.
• One television cabinet (television not included)
• Shared private bathroom
• Shared mini microwave (designed to heat individual serving items) and shared mini refrigerator/freezer.
• Shared counter and cabinet space.

A limited number of private rooms are available at an additional cost. Please indicate your interest in a private room on your Housing Application. We accommodate all requests on a first-come first-serve basis.
