Alert Find

The safety and security of our students, faculty and staff are of the utmost importance. This will never be compromised.

What is it?

All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to subscribe to The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale’s electronic emergency notification system, known as AlertFind. In an emergency, AlertFind will enable authorized college officials to reach members of the The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale community through mechanisms other than regular college email and telephones.

How does it work?

The system can transmit short notifications by e-mail to an outside email address, by text message to a cell phone, or by voice message to an off-campus telephone. The information in the emergency notification system is used primarily to contact a member in case of an emergency, an evacuation due to a natural disaster, or some other urgent situation that requires rapid, wide-scale notification of the The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale community.
