Student Housing - Application Fee, Security Deposit and Rent
A deposit of $275 is required prior to your stay. This deposit is held in case of damage to the building, furnishings and cleaning charges. Administrative fees ($50 application fee, and $50 restoration fee) are deducted directly from your deposit leaving $175 refundable to the student at the end of the license agreement term. The $175 however is not refundable if a resident performs an improper check-out (not following posted check-out procedures) or if a resident leaves housing before the end of the license agreement.
Rent is charged per quarter and includes: basic cable, shared cable internet, basic utilities and furnishings. A student’s license agreement starts the quarter they move in and lasts for a total of four quarters. For example, if a student starts in the fall quarter, his/her license agreement will end with the summer quarter. After satisfying the first four-quarter license agreement, student who continue in school sponsored housing may choose to renew their license agreement in two-quarter increments. No additional deposit or application fee is required for license renewal.
