Welcome to The Art Institute of Fort Worth

Here at The Art Institute of Fort Worth, a campus of South University, we prepare students for careers in the visual and practical arts. Programs of study are carefully defined with the support and contributions of experienced members of the professional community. Curriculum is reviewed periodically to ensure it meets the needs of a changing marketplace. An impressive faculty of working professionals strives to strengthen students’ skills and cultivate their talents.

The Art Institute of Fort Worth is located in northeast Texas and encompasses Tarrant, Parker, and Denton counties. As the county seat for Tarrant County, Fort Worth has a history founded on its presence as an Old West trading and cattle center and prominent stop along the Chisholm Trail. The city, known as “Cowtown,” is also home to several universities and colleges, parks, corporations, and historic sites that date back to the early 1800s.
