Students pursuing a Broadcasting degree through The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale get an education on the ins and outs of the broadcast industry. Individuals who want to pursue a Broadcasting degree are those who have dreamt of working as a radio announcer or news anchor. Or, Broadcast degree students may prefer working behind the scenes, writing scripts or producing stories. The Broadcast degree program teaches students the creative, technical, and business aspects of the industry. Students in the Broadcasting degree program learn hands-on, using industry-related equipment and technology. Course topics in the Broadcasting degree program include programming, videography, and promotion. Students pursuing their Broadcasting degree are also taught about the sales, public relations, and business aspects of the industry. Graduates with a Broadcasting degree can pursue entry-level jobs like newscaster, announcer, copywriter, and board operator.
