All international (non-immigrant) applicants to The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale must meet the same admissions standards as other students (Please refer to Admissions Policy in the Catalog).
All international students, regardless of status, must provide original or official copies of all educational transcripts. Those transcripts must be either prepared in English or include an official translation. All transcripts must be reviewed for equivalency by a NACES sanctioned organization.
Additionally, international students must demonstrate competence in the English language. The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale offers English language courses as part of its commitment to serve the international student.
It is the goal of The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale that a student who is placed into the language studies (LS) coursework will, upon successful completion of that coursework, possess the necessary skills to enter English Composition (ENC1101).
