Dear Alumni,

Read all about it!

The first book of its kind from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale has arrived. The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale 1968-2008 Campus History Series is now available at our campus bookstore or at your favorite Internet bookseller or onground bookstore.

Just in time to celebrate the college's 40th anniversary, this book, by David Walczak, Ph.D. and Monika Reuter, Ph.D., is a photographic journey following the people who have contributed to your successes and who have made an indelible imprint on creative education since September 16, 1968. You may even be one of the featured guests!

When you purchase The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale 1968-2008, you are contributing to helping a qualified current student meet financial challenges because the proceeds of the authors' royalties will be donated to the EDMC Education Foundation.

Help make someone's dream of a design education come true. The students we serve, of course, reap the benefits of your generosity.

So, whether you will read this book and reminisce about the long ago days of sandy classrooms across from the famous Elbow Room or you remember the days on 17th Street Causeway, one thing hasn't changed…The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale's mission and commitment to our students to offer an education taught by professionals to help students graduate with the skills and training to begin their creative careers.
