Student Housing - Restoration Deposit & Rent
A restoration deposit of $275 (of which $100 is non-refundable to cover minor cleaning and maintenance costs) is required prior to your stay. This deposit is held in case of damage to the building, furnishings and cleaning charges. The $175 however is not refundable if a resident performs an improper check-out (not following posted check-out procedures) or if a resident leaves housing before the end of the license agreement.
Rent is charged per quarter and includes: basic cable, shared Internet, basic utilities and furnishings. A student's license agreement starts the quarter they move in and lasts for a total of four quarters. For example, if a student starts in the fall quarter, his/her license agreement will end with the summer quarter. Any current student can then choose to re-new the license agreement for another four quarters without paying any additional $275.00 deposit.
