Industrial Design
Do you have a distinctive eye for structure and form? Have you always loved working with your hands to create something of beauty and function? Custom furniture, automobiles, electronics, and toys - we'll help you move your ideas from the sketch pad tothe production line. In the bachelor's degree program create and model realistic prototypes, displays, consumer products, and more in classes such as computer-aided drafting, industrial rendering, and product/structural/environmental design.
 Sharpen your problem-solving skills with experienced instructors. In and out of the shop we'll teach you ergonomics, ecology, product research, and the design process. Along the way you'll have fun with fellow students who have the same passion about making one-of-a-kind designs.
After graduation you'll have skills necessary to seek at entry-level positions in industrial design studios, exhibit design firms, model-making studios, manufacturing companies, amusement industries, advertising agencies, and architectural firms.
