Registration for courses for the upcoming quarter takes place midway through a given quarter, usingThe Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale’s (AiFL’s) online registration (EReg) process. Courses are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is important that each student register during the designated registration period.
- Students must register and complete all outstanding paperwork with the business offices by the end of registration. Students may adjust their scheduled classes only through the seventh academic day [including Saturday] of the quarter.
- The registration schedule is based on the number of credit hours a student has earned; for example, a student preparing to graduate in the next quarter is permitted to electronically register before a second-quarter student. This schedule makes it more likely that advanced-quarter students will find seats available in the classes they need so that they may graduate when expected.
AiFL provides additional registration assistance to students by maintaining an online “Registration Hub” (http://aiflhub.aiiresources.com), which offers links to academic information such as curriculum grids, academic advisor schedules, and schedules of course offerings. The site is accessible both on and off campus throughout the quarter and is updated as information is received from program chairs and other personnel. |
