Career Services provides students with numerous opportunities to gain employment both during school and after graduation.

Job Fairs
During the second week of every new quarter, The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale Career Services office invites employers who are looking to hire people in their respective fields or other areas such as retail and clerical. This is a great opportunity for students to find a part-time job without having to spend a lot of time searching. This event will be held on the following dates:

• January 16, 2008
• April 9, 2008
• July 23, 2008
• October 15, 2008

Internship Fair
The Internship Fair is held each quarter at the Broward County Convention Center. Employers are invited to interview students individually and view their portfolios. This is not only a recruiting venue for employers, but also provides students with the opportunity to gain field-related experience prior to graduation. Future Internship Fairs are:

• May 7, 2008
• August 27, 2008
• November 18, 2008

Portfolio Review
Portfolio Review is The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale's way of celebrating the work and accomplishments of the graduating class’s required portfolios. It also serves as a showcase to introduce graduates and their work to prospective employers, the community, family, and friends. Portfolio Review is held on graduation day. This event will be held on the following dates:

• September 25, 2008
• December 18, 2008
