Immediate openings are available for exciting sales positions as Assistant Director of Admissions within our growing Admissions department. If you are strong sales closer with a great work ethic, we want to here from you! You should have 2 or more years of sales or customer service experience. We seek driven sales people who expect to exceed required goals. Key responsibilities include managing inquiries and making effective contact with prospective students via phone or e-mail.
Qualifications include 2 or more years of sales or customer service experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, and solid computer skills. A bachelor's degree is preferred.

Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs
Position Summary:
The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale seeks applications for the position of Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs. This position assists the Dean and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs in the effective management and supervision of program delivery and coordination. Duties include leadership and administration of program areas (helping identify new and emerging programs) including assisting in the supervision and evaluation of faculty and staff. Selected job functions include assisting in managing resources, enrollments and budgets; creation of the division's course schedules; and preparation of outcome assessments and compilation summaries.
Key Job Elements:
- Serve as the evening and weekend Dean. Schedule will require a campus presence evenings and occasional Saturdays.
- Supervise the school testing center including administration of placement tests (i.e. Accuplacer).
- Assist the Dean of Student Affairs with orientation.
- Provide management and administrative supervision for student advising.
- Assist in the administration of college tutoring program.
- Oversee quarterly administration of student and faculty evaluation data.
- Assist in meeting academic goals regarding student persistence (retention), student credit ratio, student/teacher ratio, and continuing student registration.
- Work with Program Chairs to meet management objectives.
- Serve on college committees (Admissions, Curriculum, etc.)
- Provide feedback for evaluation of Program Chairs.
- Help facilitate development of full and part-time faculty.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and licensing requirements.
Position Requirements
- Master’s degree required, doctorate preferred in Education or related field. Ai program area would be a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of increasingly responsible experience in higher education. Academic management, advising and teaching experience preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently. Posses the ability to interact effectively in a collaborative environment and possess the ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
- Familiarity with technology a plus.

Student Loan Officer
The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, a creative, progressive college, has an immediate career opportunity for a Student Loan Officer. This position is responsible for interviewing students applying for financial aid such as loans, grants-in-aid, or scholarships; comparing data on students' applications, such as proposed budget, family income, or transcript of grades to determine eligibility requirements of assistance programs; calculating the amount of aid - considering such factors as funds available, extent of demand, and needs of students. Additionally, processes the release of funds to students and prepares required records and reports to track milestones and follow-up actions through the process.
Bachelor’s degree required with a master’s degree in a related field desirable, with two or more years of solid experience in financial aid or student accounts, preferably in a post-secondary institution. Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and governmental regulations and regulatory guidelines, as well as adhere to internal policies and procedures. Additionally, must effectively interact as a team member and work collaboratively with other departments; proactively listen to customers (e.g. students, staff, etc.,) and understand and respond positively to all student loan requests. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational and problem resolution skills. Strong basic computer software (MS Office) skills as well as exposure to more concentrated financial aid software programs such as Banner. Excellent customer service, communication, and analytical skills are essential. Previous experience with student loan financing highly preferred.
