Everyone is unsure about the future. We all want to be successful. Your success in the design industry is as important to us as it is to you. Our Career Services Department is your true partner in your job search. Student Affairs and Career Services staff members meet with each new student during the first few weeks of school. The staff wants to get to know you and learn about your goals so they can properly guide you while you are here at The Art Institute of California—Hollywood.
What will I do after graduation? Will I find a job? All college graduates ask these questions right before they graduate. The successful graduates we have supplied to the design industry have given The Art Institute of California—Hollywood an excellent reputation. They are also our ongoing connection to the industry. Therefore, we take our job search assistance for graduates very, very seriously.
The job market is tricky and daily changes are the norm. With our full-time Career Services Assistance Program, The Art Institute of California—Hollywood is with you every step of the way. Before graduation, we meet with you to clearly define your career goals. We offer seminars in various areas, including resume writing, interviewing and portfolio development. We also bring in alumni and industry guest speakers to help each student understand what life is like in the "real world" after graduation.
The Art Institute of California—Hollywood's Career Services Department models itself after an employment agency. We work tirelessly to match you with the right position from our employer database of available jobs. The Career Services Department will also call and arrange your job interview with the selected employer. Prior to your interview, we will prepare you with any necessary information to ensure the success of the interview.
After every interview, the Career Services Department will follow up with the employer for further feedback. This constant feedback between the Career Services Office, you and the employer is what distinguishes us from other institutions.
