Transcript and test score requests may be made in person, by mail or by fax. Requests by telephone or email will not be accepted. Current students can access unofficial transcripts, grades and current class schedules on this web site. Official transcript and test score requests will not be processed without the clearance of the Student Accounting Office, Student Financial Services or the Learning Resource Center.

During normal business hours, you may visit the Registrar’s Office located on the second floor at The Art Institute of Houston to complete a Transcript Request Form. You must provide a photo id to request transcripts or test scores in person.  Requests made by mail or fax need to include the following information:

Student’s name (including any possible name changes)
Student ID number and/or Social Security number
Date of birth
A current phone number
A current mailing address
Approximate dates of attendance
The complete addresses of where the transcripts and/or test scores should be sent and whether or not you would like official or unofficial transcripts
The number of copies to be sent to each address or fax number (unofficial only)
The student’s signature
(You must specify if you are requesting student test scores.)

Transcript requests are processed at a cost of $5.00 for each official transcript. There is no charge for unofficial transcripts. Test score requests are processed at a cost of $5.00 each for students that have completed at least one course at The Art Institute of Houston and can be included with the The Art Institute of Houston’s official transcript at no additional charge. Test score requests are processed at a cost of $25.00 each for students that have not completed any course work at The Art Institute of Houston. Diploma replacements are processed at a cost of $10.00 and require a notarized request stating that the original Diploma was destroyed and how. Payment must be received with each request. Checks and money orders should be made payable to The Art Institute of Houston. Credit card payments will be taken over the phone once official transcripts are ready and a current phone number must be included with your request. Test scores are only available for tests taken after January 1, 1998. Please allow 10 days to process your request. A transcript request form link is located above for your convenience.
