Career and Technology Education (CATE) Scholarship

To provide financial assistance to students interested in attending The Art Institute of Houston who show evidence of commitment and motivation to successfully complete the Career and Technology Program in the State of Texas.

Entry Checklist
Be sure to include all of the following items in your entry package.
• Completed entry form.
• Indicate the program of study desired.
• An official high school transcript indicating current grade point average and class rank. PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST SUBMIT A TRANSCRIPT WITH YOUR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION MATERIALS EVEN IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED A TRANSCRIPT TO THE ADMISSIONS OFFICE OR FOR ANOTHER SCHOLARSHIP ENTRY.
• A letter of recommendation from your guidance counselor or teacher.
• A letter of recommendation from an instructor.
• Completed response to the following three questions (please provide typed answers on a separate sheet of paper):
1. My immediate educational goal upon completion of High School is...
2. My career goal upon completion of college is...
3. Winning the scholarship to The Art Institute of Houston would mean...
