CD-ROM Collections
The Library has nearly 600 CD-ROM's loaded with digital imagery. Students may check out up to five CD's at one time for a period of five hour time period. Please ask for the CD's at the circulation desk.
Databases Searching
You can locate journal articles using either SIRS or WilsonWeb, two searchable databases containing thousands of articles on many subjects. You may connect to these databases through the icons on the PC interfaces.

Electronic Materials
The Library has an extensive electronic collection to support the curricula at The Art Institute of Houston. You may search for materials by using the Athena online catalog, just as you would search for books. Videos and DVD's do not circulate, but may be viewed in The Library. CD-ROM's may be borrowed for up to five hours. Please request an item from the staff member at the information desk.
