Databases Searching
You can locate journal articles using either SIRS or WilsonWeb, two searchable databases containing thousands of articles on many subjects. You may connect to these databases through the icons on the PC interfaces.
CD-ROM Collection
The Library has several CD-ROM collections available. These include the Corel Stock Photography collection, digital video clips, BBC Sound Effects, Fresh Music, and other miscellaneous sound effects on disc. The catalogs for each are available on the table by the circulation desk. CDs can be checked out for a five hour period with a limit of five CD's at a time.

Electronic Materials
The Library has an extensive electronic collection to support the curricula at The Art Institute of Houston. You may search for materials by using the Athena online catalog, just as you would search for books. Videos do not circulate, but may be viewed in The Library. Please request an item from the staff member at the information desk.
