The Art Institute of Houston trains students in Advertising Design, Audio Production, Baking & Pastry, Culinary Arts, Culinary Management, Fashion Design, Food & Beverage Management, Graphic Design, Design & Technical Graphics, Fashion & Retail Management, Digital Filmmaking & Video Production, Game Art & Design, Hospitality Management, Interior Design, Media Arts & Animation, Photography, Restaurant & Catering Management, Visual Effects & Motion Graphics and Web Design & Interactive Media. From its founding in 1965, until joining The Art Institutes system of schools in 1978, The Art Institute of Houston was known as the Houston School of Commercial Art. In July 2011 the school relocated to its current facility at 4140 Southwest Freeway, Houston, TX 77027.
