Evening & Weekend Option

Introducing the Evening & Weekend Option at The Art Institute of Houston

Students can pursue their degree in Interior Design, Web Design & Interactive Media, Culinary Arts or Culinary Management in an evening and weekend, online and on-ground format. These delivery options are designed to provide working adults with the opportunity to complete their education in two or three years for an associate’s degree and three or four years for a bachelor’s degree, depending on the structure they choose. Students may take up to four classes each quarter. Courses are offered at the college along with online class options each quarter.

Request more information about the Evening & Weekend Option.

Students attend classes at the college one or two evenings a week and on Saturdays and Sundays, depending on the schedule, online options, and class availability. Optional online courses are offered throughout the full quarter - one class in the first 5.5 weeks of the quarter and one class in the last 5.5 weeks of the quarter. At the time of registration, students will be advised of the classes that will be offered online in their program. The same is true of classes that students will take at The Art Institute of Houston. Students will have the option of taking any online courses at the college, if offered. Students will be able to take a minimum of two on-ground courses each quarter.

These program options provide excellent education opportunities for working adults, allowing them to continue to work and have time with their families while pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design or Web Design & Interactive Media, a Bachelor of Science degree in Culinary Management, or an Associate of Applied Science degree in Culinary Arts.

This option features:
•    Flexible evening and weekend format in conjunction with online classes.
•    Curriculum designed with industry input.
•    Instructors with industry experience.
•    Industry-relevant technology.
•    Financial aid for those who qualify.

For more information about this learning option, please contact us or fill out our form. You can also download catalog addenda for each program below. Or, if you're ready to apply or enroll, download the appropriate forms below.
