In order to reside in school-sponsored housing, students must maintain full-time status at The Art Institute of Houston. Full-time is defined, for housing purposes, as someone enrolled in at least nine credit hours.

Students who, at any time, fall below nine credit hours or are not any longer enrolled at The Art Institute of Houston will be asked to vacate school-sponsored housing immediately.

To ensure the safety of all residents, all students requesting school-sponsored housing will be subject to a criminal background check done by an outside source.
