Organizations & Activities
It is the philosophy of The Art Institute of Houston that participation in extracurricular activities enhances your educational experience. The school supports student participation in student-based organizations. We encourage student participation in groups such as The American Society of Interior Designers, the Great Chefs Club, and The National Technical Honor Society.
It is the policy of The Art Institute of Houston to allow students the freedom to choose participation in student activities. However, the school requires a faculty/staff member or department director's supervision or sponsorship of any student activity or organization.
The National Technical Honor Society is a student group that provides input to The Art Institute administration. For more information about this organization visit the Faculty Advising Center, or for information on other school clubs, visit the Student Affairs office.
