Tutoring
Academic tutoring is a free service to all students at The Art Institute of Houston. One-on-one Peer Tutoring can be arranged through the Testing & Tutoring Lab. Students may access this service as often as needed. Peer tutors are carefully selected for their knowledge in various areas, including General Education, Design, Media Arts and Culinary Arts. In addition, faculty provide tutoring and workshops specific to the courses they instruct.
Bus Passes
A variety of discounted passes for use on the Houston Metro Bus system are sold in the Student Affairs Office. The most popular is a monthly pass. Student Affairs also sells tokens used for single rides.
Meal Tickets
Meal tickets for use in the deli and restaurant of The Art Institute of Houston are sold for a 10% discount through the Student Affairs Office. These tickets cover all food and beverage items sold at both locations. Certain restrictions apply.
