Jordan Scott - The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Indianapolis’ - Best Teen Chef 2011

The Art Institute of Indianapolis has a new Best Teen Chef! Jordan Scott has won the title of Best Teen Chef of Indianapolis and a tuition scholarship to attend The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Indianapolis. A Plymouth native and senior at Plymouth High School, she walked away with the honor after competing against 15 other students in the cook-off on April 30th.

Scott began cooking with her grandfather when she was around five years old. The first thing he taught her to make was scrambled eggs and waffles. She enjoys preparing all types of food, especially breakfast foods like French toast. Scott says her family and friends have always backed her. When not in the kitchen, Scott enjoys bowling and playing softball and volleyball.

As for the future, Scott would love to be the head chef of a 5-star restaurant.
