The Art Institute of Indianapolis provides a wide variety of support services to students in order to help them complete their educational programs and reach their career goals. Every student is encouraged to take advantage of these support services.
Each quarter students are to meet with their Academic Department Director for counseling and prerequisite advising and to discuss academic planning and progression from the beginning of their respective program through graduation. Academic Department Directors and Academic Advisors assist students in scheduling and maintaining satisfactory academic progress.
Students who are in need of tutorial assistance in any course should contact their instructor, Academic Advisor, or Academic Department Director for more information regarding tutoring. Students are encouraged to seek out tutoring assistance.

Student Health Plan
The Art Institutes are constantly working to improve the services we make available to our students. As part of that effort we are pleased to provide information to you on student medical insurance. The Art Institutes strongly encourage all students to maintain adequate health insurance while attending school. Students can enroll on-line in the student medical insurance program sponsored by National Collegiate Underwriters & Administrators, Inc.
The Art Institute of Indianapolis provides accommodations to qualified students with disabilities. The Disability Services office assists qualified students with disabilities in acquiring reasonable and appropriate accommodations and in supporting equal access to services, programs and activities at The Art Institute of Indianapolis.
Students who seek reasonable accommodations should notify Student Affairs, (317) 613-4815, of their specific limitations and, if known, their specific requested accommodations. Students will be asked to supply medical documentation of the need for accommodation. Classroom accommodations are not retroactive, but are effective only upon the student sharing approved accommodations with the instructor. Therefore, students are encouraged to request accommodations as early as feasible with the Disability Services Coordinator to allow for time to gather necessary documentation. If you have a concern or complaint in this regard, please contact Student Affairs, Pyramid II, Room 208, telephone number (317) 613-4815. Complaints will be handled in accordance with the school’s Internal Grievance Procedure for Complaints of Discrimination and Harassment.
