Housing and Residential Life
The Office of Housing and Residential Life at The Art Institute of Indianapolis teaches students independence, responsibility, and community involvement. School-sponsored housing is the first step for students in independent living before they make the decision to live on their own. The Art Institute of Indianapolis contracts with local apartment communities to provide housing to students who wish to live in an environment with other Art Institute of Indianapolis students. This living arrangement allows the students to include the housing costs in his/her financial plan; and students have the opportunity to live, cook, study, and travel to and from school together.
When you are making your decision to live within our community, know that studies have shown that students who live in a residence life system are happier, feel more connected to the school, and are more likely to graduate. Another reason to consider school-sponsored housing is that many of the experiences and memories that you will make at college will occur outside of the classroom. By living close to school and with other Art Institute of Indianapolis students, you will have many opportunities to get the most from your education.
