An application for admission and the Enrollment Agreement must be completed and signed by the applicant and parent or guardian (if applicable) and submitted to The Art Institute of California, Inland Empire. The school requires official proof of high school graduation or GED scores as conditions for enrollment acceptance. Prospective students are strongly encouraged to visit the school, although a visit is not a condition for submitting the application for admission or Enrollment Agreement. Arrangements for an interview and tour of the school may be made by contacting the Admissions department.

Each individual who seeks admission to The Art Institute of California, Inland Empire will be interviewed either in person or by telephone by an Assistant Director of Admissions. The purpose of the interview is to:

1. Explore the prospective student’s background interests as they relate to the programs offered at school;
2. Assist prospective students to identify the appropriate area of study consistent with their background and interest, and;
3. Provide information concerning curriculum offerings and support services available at The Art Institute of California, Inland Empire. The pre-admission interview is designed to assist in assessing whether the student has a reasonable chance of successfully completing the appropriate program of study. Nationally based exams, such as the SAT or ACT, also will be considered.

Therefore, every applicant must provide official proof of high school graduation indicating date graduation and/or obtainment of a GED certificate and scores in order to be accepted to The Art Institute of California, Inland Empire. If the applicant has not yet graduated from high school, then he/she must provide the most recent partial transcript in order to be evaluated for early acceptance. In addition, all prospective students will be required to independently conceive and write two essays of approximately 150 words regarding how an education at The Art Institute of California, Inland Empire will help them attain their career goals.
